CY On the secret tour, we went to a church where, coincidentally, there was a wedding going on at the same time. Just our luck. So we snuck by the wedding and went to a secret passage way. We went up a winding staircase that led to a scaffolding where we found ourselves face-to-face with paintings high up on the wall that were ruined. On the lower level of the scaffolding, the floor was covered in dirt, there were remains of an old column, and a tomb made with a special and rare marble. Our tour guide, Filippo, told us that it was a wall of an old church that the Romans forgot about when they build another wall in front of it. That explained the ruined columns and paintings. Filippo said that modern archeologists excavated it and made a passage way for exclusive people, like us, could go to if they were on a tour with certain tour guides. Then we took a last look at the paintings and quietly snuck out of the passage way and into the church at the worst moment possible. The priest was saying the "person1, do you take person2 to be your lawfully wedded wife..." That stuff. Then we went back to the van and drove to our apartment.
